Authorised work only. We test only systems you own or may lawfully test, so a signed written scope always comes first. Anything else is declined.

Ethical hacker guides

These ethical hacker guides explain how authorised testing works, what it costs and how to hire well. So each guide answers one question, plainly.

Ethical hacker guides: authorise, test and fix

What every engagement shares

The systems change from one client to the next. However, the rules stay fixed. First, you sign a written scope. Second, a senior person tests and briefs you. Third, a retest confirms the fixes, and nothing is retained afterwards.

Fees are fixed before work starts, so there is no hourly billing. Also, a bounded review exists for smaller first steps.

How to use these ethical hacker guides

Start with the hiring and cost pages. Then read the service pages that match your systems. Every page follows the same rule: authorised work only. So nothing here describes testing anyone else's systems.

Each page also links to the others. Therefore you can move from a general question to a specific service without starting again.

We are a small senior team. So these pages describe how we actually work, not a generic playbook.
